The NSS Unit Sanctioned by the Government of India has been set up in this college . Prof Sudipa Pramanik is In-charge of the college NSS unit. NSS is mainly a personality development programme by involving the student in community service. Campus cleaning and Environmental awareness programme are the most basic activities of NSS volunteers of this college unit .1st Dec 2015 NSS volunteers organized a awareness programme on AIDS at our premises.

College Events
Rishi Bankim Chandra College for Women has been conducting both Indoor (e.g. Carrom,, Table Tennis) and Outdoor sports (e.g. Kho-kho, Relay Race, Badminton) since its inception. With huge participation of students, the Annual Sports Competition is held under control and supervision of the college. There is also a sports sub-committee of the Students’ Union that also organizes sports related activities and events every year. Presently, our students participate in DPI sports at the District level as well as at University, State, and National level competitions, and they are bringing laurels of glory to our college.
